A Blue-Collar CFO is not a CPA or accountant that you bring in to help manage cash flow and produce financial and budgetary reports. Although we do these things, they are a small part of the daily job of a true-blue collar CFO. A Blue-collar CFO partners with the owner to help build the business by creating and putting in place processes, procedures that support a 5-star customer service experience along with hiring the right team to carry out the mission. We create accounting processes, HR Processes, and inventory control. We work on branding the business and developing the right market strategy to grow the business at the right pace to grow and still provide 5-star service. We develop company policy and create handbooks.
We develop training and safety programs that help develop new employees. But most of all, we help create a coaching culture that focuses on leadership development and building character throughout the company. My function as a Blue-Collar CFO is to be a true partner to the owner and his vision by helping him develop a culture of greatness through character and leadership development.
